From festivals to Leeds
Jenny’s Jerk Chicken began with a converted van rolling from festival to festival, spreading the soulful taste of the Islands. But Leeds has always been home. From day one, the city showed us love, and we served it right back, plate by plate.
Next steps
As word spread and queues grew longer, we took the next step: opening a spot in the indoor market while still firing up our grill at seasonal gatherings and private events. The flavours never changed, bold, authentic, full of heart, and our story continued to unfold.
The duo behind the flavour
Behind it all are Jenny and Barry, the powerhouse couple fuelling the fire. Barry, the man behind the marinade, brings the heat in the kitchen with his technical skills and passion for flavour. Jenny runs the show, leading operations, building relationships, and sharing our story far and wide.
